The Prostat PRS-801B is a portable digital resistance meter designed for precise measurement of surface resistance in electrostatic discharge (ESD) control environments. It offers a wide measurement range from 0.01 Ω to 2.00 × 10¹⁴ Ω, with an accuracy of ±2% for values between 1.00 Ω and 9.99 × 10¹⁰ Ω. The device features variable test voltages from 0.1 mV to 9.99 V for low resistance measurements, as well as constant test voltages of 10 V and 100 V, complying with ANSI/ESD S20.20 standards. Equipped with a rechargeable Li-ion battery, the PRS-801B can perform approximately 8,000 measurements on a single charge and includes a 999 data set memory. Data can be downloaded to Excel® using the Prostat Connect 2.0 software.
