Adani Group to invest ₹30,000 crore in Kerala.

Adani Group has come forward to make significant investments in Kerala to lay the foundation for the development of infrastructure and economic growth. At the Invest Kerala Global Summit 2025, Adani Group announced an investment of ₹30,000 crore. Focusing mainly on projects like port development, airport expansion, and logistics facilities, Adani Ports, SEZ Limited MD Karan Adani revealed. Through these projects, Adani Group is set to play a key role in improving Kerala's infrastructure.

Adani Group is developing the Vizhinjam port in Kerala. The company has already invested ₹5,000 crore for this project and will invest an additional ₹20,000 crore to expand the port. This port will be connected with major global ports with a capacity of 24,000 containers. It is expected to be a crucial project for improving international shipping routes.

Adani Group will expand Thiruvananthapuram airport with an investment of ₹5,500 crore. Currently having the capacity to handle 4.5 million passengers annually, the airport will be expanded to accommodate 12 million passengers. Additionally, a logistics and e-commerce hub will be built in Kochi, and cement production capacity will be increased. Karan Adani stated that these projects will contribute to the development of Kerala's economy. He emphasized that strengthening state economies is crucial for achieving the 'Developed India' goal announced by Prime Minister Modi, and infrastructure development plays a key role in this.
